Ten months ago I tore my Achilles.

I couldn’t walk. I couldn’t lift. I couldn’t carry anything without help.

Recovering from it takes nearly a year and even now, I’m still working my way back.

Today, I set up my yard for spring.

I carried chairs. I raked leaves. I moved my body.

It wasn’t glamorous. But it felt like a reset.

And honestly… this felt like a win.

You don’t have to wait until life is “back to normal” to romanticize it.

Even if it’s just pulling weeds and putting up a hammock, that counts.

Show up anyway. Start where you are. It matters.
