Like many of us, especially those in demanding roles or who naturally take on a lot of responsibility, I often found myself operating from a place of constant doing, pushing, and striving. This felt like being perpetually in my 'masculine' drive, which can be exhausting and disconnect you from your intuitive, flowing self.
Initially, I thought feminine energy was just about being soft or passive, but through self-reflection and learning, I've discovered it's so much more profound. It's about being compassionate, creative, and trusting your intuition, as well as being firmly grounded with clear boundaries. The 'Healthy Feminine' energy, as I've come to understand it, allows for deep knowing and a connection to an inner wisdom that guides rather than dictates.
One of the biggest shifts for me has been truly understanding and implementing feminine energy boundaries. Before, I struggled with saying no, always wanting to help or be available, which often left me drained. Now, I see boundaries as a loving act of self-preservation. It's not about being rigid, but about honoring my energy and protecting my peace. This has allowed me to feel more grounded feminine energy, where I'm rooted in my values and don't get easily swayed by external pressures.
I've also started incorporating a feminine night routine into my evenings. Instead of mindlessly scrolling, I focus on winding down and connecting with myself. This might include a warm bath with essential oils, journaling about my day, or reading an inspiring book. Ultimately, living in feminine energy is about creating a feminine lifestyle that prioritizes self-love, intuition, and authentic connection. It’s about recognizing when I'm leaning too heavily into the 'unhealthy feminine' traits – like needing external validation or being overly emotional without processing – and gently guiding myself back to a place of balance. It's a continuous journey of self-discovery, allowing myself to receive help, setting boundaries, and truly feeling unapologetically good in my own skin.
