The only basics you need ☀️🌸
Faith. Family. Freedom, these 3 things I died for, not just a Skillet song, but my truth!
Faith: Christ died for me so I am free like He was to lay down my life for a friend
Family-How I can show God's love ❤️ on this earth 🌎 🙏 🙌 by being Jesus’s Hands and Feet, first to my immediate family and then ❤️ my church family
Freedom: As they say freedom is not free and as Christians we should stand against assaults on freedom such as increasing surveillance state, our freedom of speech and our freedom 😀 of worship.
Blessings y'all

Reflecting on the importance of faith, family, and freedom has truly reshaped how I approach daily life. Faith is more than belief to me—it’s a source of strength and freedom, following Christ’s example of self-sacrifice. This spiritual foundation empowers me to live with intention and serve those around me. Family plays a crucial role as well. Being able to express God’s love through my immediate family and extending that love to my broader church family creates a strong community of support and compassion. It reminds me that the bonds we nurture are essential for our emotional and spiritual well-being. Freedom is something I don’t take for granted. As mentioned, freedom is not free, and in today’s world, protecting freedom of speech, worship, and privacy feels more urgent than ever. I find myself more aware of the threats posed by surveillance and restrictions to these freedoms, and this awareness motivates me to stand firm in defending them. Balancing these three foundations shapes how I react to challenges and opportunities. They inspire me to be resilient and proactive in fostering love, faith, and liberty in my environment. I encourage others to reflect on what fundamentals they value most, as they provide direction and peace in a fast-changing world. The passion and intensity echoed in imagery and song lyrics—like those mentioning rising up and resistance—underscore the power of holding fast to these principles. It’s like being part of a collective movement where faith fuels action, family offers connection, and freedom demands vigilance. This personal journey reminds me to keep these basics at my core, no matter what trials come my way.
