Hey FF7 fans! So, I've been diving deep back into Final Fantasy VII lately, and I've found myself in a bit of a predicament – I'm totally overleveled! It wasn't intentional, but all that extra grinding has made some of the early game encounters a breeze. It's fascinating how much easier battles become when you're dishing out HEAVY DAMAGE with every attack, and enemies barely scratch you, even without a BARRIER spell up. It changes the dynamic of the game, letting me focus more on the story and exploration rather than struggling through every fight. Speaking of the story, one of the biggest draws for me, and I'm sure for many of you, are the iconic characters of FF7. Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret, Red XIII, Cid, Vincent, Yuffie – each one brings so much unique personality and backstory to the table. Cloud, with his mysterious past and huge Buster Sword, is instantly recognizable. But then there's Tifa, the strong and loyal martial artist, and Aerith, the gentle flower girl with a powerful secret. Barret's gruff exterior hides a caring heart, and Red XIII's wisdom is always a highlight. I love how the game makes you care deeply about these individuals and their intertwined fates. When you're overleveled, you really get to experiment with their Materia setups without worrying too much about optimizing for survival. I've been trying out some wild combinations, just to see what kind of crazy abilities I can create. It's fun to see how quickly I can defeat a TARGET enemy, or how my character builds allow me to take down formidable foes. This freedom to play around with different strategies is one of the unexpected joys of being a bit overpowered. For those wondering how I ended up so strong, it mostly came from exploring every nook and cranny and getting into every optional battle. Sometimes, I just enjoyed the combat system so much that I kept fighting. My advice for anyone wanting to power up their final fantasy main characters is to embrace exploration. Don't shy away from random encounters, and always check for hidden areas that might offer better experience or powerful Materia. Understanding each character's strengths and weaknesses, and pairing them with the right Materia, is key to truly mastering FF7. For instance, giving Cloud or Tifa a powerful attack Materia allows them to become a potent damage dealer, while Aerith excels at support and healing. Even if you don't aim to be 'overleveled,' a strong party makes the journey so much more enjoyable. It's about finding that balance where you feel powerful but still challenged. What a journey it has been!
