This year's Thailand International Motor Expo 2025, MG is set to create a full-scale buzz with the first simultaneous makeover of two new electric power vehicles in Thailand: the MG IM5, a premium electric sports sedan, and the MG Maxus eTerron 9, a highly designed electric pickup launched in ASEAN.

MG IM5 Large Electric Sedan Intended to Fulfill Premium Line Continue with Previous Launched Model IM6 The car body has a modern sporty look, sharp lines and body size up to 4,931 mm with a 2,950 mm wheelbase.

MG is set to put the right-hand drive version on display. The international specs indicate that the IM5 uses a 75-100 kWh capacity battery, runs a maximum distance of 490-710 km according to WLTP standards, supports DC fast charging up to 153 kW, and the top model reaches 396 kW, providing practical, convenient and much faster use than before.

The single motor version produces 295 horsepower and accelerates 0-100 km / h in 6.8 seconds, and the Performance version comes with a 710 horsepower double motor with a brutal acceleration of 3.1 seconds.

This model uses a large 102.2 kWh battery, achieved a range of up to 430 km. WLTP with dual-motor four-wheel drive, 125 horsepower separation front and 200 horsepower rear, provides continuous tensile on both smooth roads and trails requiring more drag power, DC fast charging support up to 115 kW.

Sufficient for the daily use of heavy-duty car and lifestyle pickup groups. If marketed in Thailand, eTerron 9 will enter the same field as the Riddara RD6 and the recently launched Toyota Hilux Travo-e, which makes the electric pickup market more competitive.
