🍃 Moving Back Home After Almost 10 Years
This season of my life has been about choosing alignment and ease.
After nearly a decade away, I made the decision to move back home town. While it hasn’t been without adjustment, it’s been grounding in so many ways.
Why I moved:
✨To spend more intentional time with my family
✨To reconnect with my sisters in simple, joyful ways
✨To be close to childhood and college friends who remind me who I’ve always been
✨To reset financially, building savings, paying down debt, and setting long-term goals
✨To trade constant stimulation of city life for more trees, more quiet, and more space to breathe
I miss the walkability of my DTLA apartment, but there’s something deeply regulating about being surrounded by nature I can actually see and hear throughout the day.
This move has also opened up new possibilities in my work. I’m still seeing California clients, traveling back to LA when opportunities arise, and beginning to root into the Atlanta wellness community through yoga, meditation, sound, and mental health workshops.
I’m learning that transitions don’t need to be rushed or explained away.
🌱 They can be tender.
🌱 They can be practical.
🌱 They can be deeply intentional.
If you’re in a season of change too, I hope this reminds you that choosing support, stability, and softness is never a step backward. 🤎
