Detox bath recipe 👇🏼🫧🤍
This is one natural, holistic way to support the body's detoxification process!!
Not medical advice. If you’re dehydrated, pregnant or have open wounds/cuts be weary of taking a hot bath.
There are many other detox baths one can take but this is what works for me using all real, natural ingredients!
Ingredients:
2 cups water
1/4 cup sea salt
1/4 cup Epsom salt
1/4 cup baking soda
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
Directions:
Start warm/hot bath water in bathtub.
Heat the 2 cups water on stove until boil, pour into a bowl, then add the sea salt & Epsom salt & baking soda, mix well. Now add ACV to bath then add salt mixture to bath.
Soak for 30-40 minutes.

You know, there's nothing quite like sinking into a warm bath after a long day, but when you turn it into a detox bath, it's a whole new level of self-care! I first started experimenting with these recipes a few years ago when I was feeling sluggish and just wanted a natural way to support my body's wellness. That's when I discovered the magic of combining simple pantry ingredients for a truly refreshing soak. Beyond just relaxation, I’ve personally experienced some amazing benefits from my regular detox bath routine. For starters, the Epsom salts are a game-changer for muscle relief. After a tough workout or a stressful day, soaking in magnesium-rich water helps to soothe those tired muscles and reduce any soreness I might be feeling. It's truly fantastic for restoring magnesium levels, which many of us are deficient in. The baking soda, on the other hand, makes my skin feel incredibly soft. It's known for its ability to balance skin pH and can be really calming if you have any minor skin irritations. And the apple cider vinegar? It's another star player, often praised for its skin-toning properties and for helping to create a healthy environment for your skin. Together, these ingredients work synergistically to help you feel completely renewed. Many people, myself included, are curious about how these baths contribute to 'detoxification.' While it's not a medical treatment, I believe in supporting my body's natural processes to feel my best. The idea is that these ingredients, particularly the salts and baking soda, can help with drawing out toxins through the skin, leaving you feeling lighter and more energized. It's less about a 'heavy metal detox' in a clinical sense, and more about a holistic approach to feeling clean from the inside out. For me, it's about reducing inflammation by giving my body a break and helping it naturally reset. To get the most out of your detox bath, here are a few tips I've learned along the way: Water Temperature: I always make sure the water is comfortably warm, even slightly hot, but not scalding. This helps open up your pores. Hydration is Key: Before, during, and after your bath, drink plenty of water. You'll be sweating, and staying hydrated is super important for how you feel afterward. Set the Mood: Dim the lights, light a candle, play some calming music. Make it a true sanctuary. Post-Bath Care: Once you towel off, I love to apply a natural moisturizer or body oil to lock in that soft skin feeling. You might feel a little tired or light-headed immediately after, so take your time getting out and relax for a bit. Of course, it’s always wise to listen to your body and consult with a healthcare professional if you have any underlying health conditions. But for a natural, holistic way to unwind and support your overall well-being, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this detox bath recipe a try. It’s become a cherished part of my routine, and I hope it brings you as much comfort and rejuvenation as it brings me!
