What to do on a bad mental health day 👇🏼

We all have “ bad” or “ harder” mental health days.

I’ve learned overtime what really helps me on a bad mental health day and I’m sharing those with you guys here!

I hope this is helpful and let me know if you’re able to implement any of these .

— move your body! Go on a walk outside or on the treadmill, go to the gym, take a workout class… the endorphins you’ll feel from moving your body is so needed.

— Take time to be with yourself in silence & journal your feelings, thoughts, emotions. Getting it out on paper can help so so much.

— Try and get outside if possible, even in the winter time. Exposing the body and eyes to sunlight, even if it’s overcast can support mental health. Breathing in fresh air and getting outside while disconnecting from social media and your phone is so needed.

— Check in with yourself and see if you need to take space to process your emotions alone or do you need to be around people that love you? Figure out what you and your body need and honor that.
