“Widowmaker”: insult or compliment?
The Porsche 930 Turbo got famous for causing fatalities, and now it’s widely known as the original widowmaker. Because of its rear-wheel drive, rear-engine setup, the weight distribution has a heavy rear-bias, and this paired with its unpredictable turbo lag has proven to be deadly. Still, it’s one of the most desirable variants of the Porsche 911.
This one, which is a 1979 model finished in Oak Green Metallic over a Cork leather interior, might be the perfect example.
