Things I did in April for myself

1. I took a solo trip. It’s been a long time coming, but I was finally brave enough to pull the trigger on a solo trip. My soul was screaming at me to get away for a while, isolate, and tap into the things I used to love. I grew confident quickly in eating alone at crowded places, walking around the town and beaches all alone. I found so much inspiration and 10/10 will definitely be taking more solo trips in the future.

2. Spring means full bloom! I love to see my roses and wildflowers in bloom, I used to love capturing them in pictures. Eclipse day was the perfect opportunity (and lighting!) to get some shots of the vibrant colors in nature.

3. My spiritual journey has become a lot stronger this past month, and with that comes new crystals and stones to add to my ever growing collection (post on that to come later!) every visit to my local shop always leads me to what I need at that moment and I never leave without bringing home at least one item to add to my altar. My current focus is my inner divine feminine energy, healing my root and sacral chakras, and bringing more positivity and love into my life.

4. I’ve had my eye on the Whispers of the Ocean oracle deck for at least a year now, and finally decided to get it. As soon as I read the intro guide I felt such a rush of warm, positive energy radiating through my body. This deck was meant for me. I study one card at a time, at least twice a week to provide insight and guidance to my current situations and overall path in life.

... Read moreApril is a wonderful month for self-discovery and personal growth, especially as spring brings new beginnings. Planning a solo trip, as I did, allows for deep introspection and personal rejuvenation. These adventures not only help you reconnect with your interests but also enhance your self-confidence when navigating unfamiliar places alone. Being immersed in nature during this time can elevate your mood, as the blooming flowers and beautiful landscapes inspire creativity and a sense of calm. Another significant aspect of self-care is diving wholeheartedly into spirituality. Building a collection of crystals and stones adds a physical and emotional layer to your journey. Each crystal, like Black Tourmaline for grounding and Lepidolite for tranquility, supports your mental health by promoting positive energy and clearing negativity. These tools are essential on your quest to balance your chakras and nurture your divine feminine energy. Engaging with oracle decks, such as the Whispers of the Ocean, can provide guidance and insights that enhance your spiritual path. Each card serves as a reflection, encouraging you to trust your instincts while guiding you towards achieving your goals. Fostering a spiritual practice boosts your inner resilience and brings clarity, especially during transformative times. Overall, April is an excellent time to integrate these practices into your self-care routine. Whether it's through travel, nature photography, or exploring spirituality, prioritizing your needs and passions allows for a richer, more fulfilling life.
