May 2025 - NOLA
One quick night and morning in NOLA left me wanting more.
We popped down for a bit while in the area and walked through Bourbon St. at night. Performers, tarot readers, psychics, and all kinds of kinds were around every corner - which isn’t exactly my speed but I can appreciate it well enough. There’s a certain kind of beauty that lies within the mysteries that surround New Orleans.
The next morning was definitely much calmer (and cleaner). Though I did heavily gag at the “garbage water” from the street cleaners. We had breakfast at Cafe Du Monde, looked at local art vendors in the French Market, and those also located in Jackson Square.
All in all, I certainly plan to return to the Big Easy. I want to explore the local cuisines, meet new people, and learn about the area. #travelrecommendations #neworleansvibes #neworleans
