Sometimes the life you built, wasn’t the one you were supposed to live in forever… what if there’s more to your story, more to your kids story. What if you got out of your own way, and asked “is there more?” The journey can be trying, but worth it in the end. #movingday #onthisday #dreamhomejourney #oneyearago
One year after choosing to leave the familiar behind and start anew, I can confidently say that the journey was both challenging and transformative. Moving to a new state felt like risking everything, but it opened doors I didn’t know existed. At first, the uncertainty was overwhelming—leaving a life carefully built for unknowns was daunting. Yet, that hesitation gave way to determination fueled by faith and relentless effort. In the early days, I often reminded myself to pray like it depended on God and work like it depended on me. It wasn’t easy; tears were shed during tough moments when doubt crept in. But with every step outside my comfort zone, my belief in what was possible expanded. Finding a home I never imagined owning symbolized more than just a place to live—it represented hope, growth, and new beginnings. Looking back, the person I was a year ago seems like a different person entirely. This experience taught me that sometimes, the life we build initially isn’t the one we’re meant to stay in forever. Asking “Is there more?” and taking the leap to pursue it has brought richness and depth to my story and my children’s stories. To anyone on the edge of such a decision, know that while the path may be trying, it is worth it. Taking risks, supported by faith and hard work, can transform your dreams into realities you never thought possible. This journey isn’t just about moving; it’s about growing beyond limits and embracing the life that awaits when you step out in faith and courage.
