Give due respect to one talent.

国際女性デーは、単に女性の権利を祝うだけでなく、長年にわたり抑圧されてきた女性たちの創造力や表現の幅を再評価する機会でもあります。私自身もこの日に、アートを通じて女性の強さや繊細さを感じることが多くなりました。特にアール・ブリュットというジャンルでは、公式な美術教育を受けていない女性アーティストの作品に、そのしなやかさと不屈の精神が表れていることが印象的です。 ヨーロッパではこの日に黄色いミモザの花を贈る習慣がありますが、これは春の到来を告げるとともに、静かにしかし確かな光を放つ女性たちのエネルギーを象徴しています。私も日ごろの感謝を込めてミモザを贈ることが多く、花言葉の「感謝」「思いやり」に強く共感しています。 こうした伝統や象徴には、男女の違いを否定するのではなく、その違いが価値となる社会を目指すメッセージが込められていることを実感します。違いを認め合い、それぞれの才能に正当な評価と尊重を与えることが、より豊かな社会づくりに繋がると感じています。国際女性デーは、そうした多様な価値の循環を考える重要な日として、私は毎年大切にしています。
