Even Odds by Miah Onsha 🎲 🎀 ⚾️

There’s so many things I loved about this book, but I want to start by saying praises to Miah for her wonderful approach to such important topics that need focus! We get to explore topics like the toxic environment and discrimination that women face in male dominating fields and how it feels like no matter how hard you work, you are always discredited based on your sex. We also see the a very vulnerable and MMC that struggles with wanting to meet everyone’s expectations of him, putting so much pressure on himself to the breaking point.

If you are a fan of Chelsea Curto’s books because you like her approach at communication and accountability in relationships, I think you’ll love Even Odds. I think Miah did a WONDERFUL job at portraying struggles that many of us go through not only in our professional lives, but also in our relationships and self image.
