Wyatt By Jessica Peterson ❤️🐎✨
I lovedddd this story! Sally and Wyatt are childhood friends who have both been secretly in love with eachother. Of course fake dating turns into more between these two but they’re both working through some issues. Sally has a new job lined up across the country she’s not sure of and Wyatt is trying to figure out how to be with Sally and open up to her more knowing they may have a time limit on their romance. Sally and Wyatt were so in tuned with one another and cared deeply for eachother. They both wanted the best for eachother. It was also veryyy SPICYYY. Loved how everything worked out between them. 5/5 ⭐️
Oh my gosh, I just have to rave about 'Wyatt' by Jessica Peterson! If you're anything like me and live for a good small town cowboy romance, then clear your schedule because you're going to devour this book. From the moment I started, I was completely hooked, and it absolutely delivered on every trope I adore. First off, let's talk about the setting. There's just something so comforting and authentic about a small town romance, isn't there? It creates this cozy, tight-knit community feel where everyone knows everyone, and the stakes often feel higher because of it. Combine that with a rugged cowboy hero, and you've got pure magic. Wyatt perfectly captures that rustic, adventurous atmosphere that makes you want to pack your bags and move to the countryside. The book cover itself, with that iconic cowboy, perfectly sets the tone for what's inside – a true Western romance. And the tropes? Chef's kiss! We've got friends-to-lovers, which is always a favorite because of the built-in history and undeniable connection between the characters. Sally and Wyatt have been secretly in love with each other since childhood, which just makes their journey so much sweeter and more angsty. Then, throw in a fake dating scenario, and you've got all the delicious forced proximity and unspoken desires bubbling to the surface. It's a recipe for absolute perfection, highlighting the 'she falls first, he falls harder' dynamic that makes my heart ache in the best way! But it's not just the tropes; the characters themselves are incredibly well-developed. Sally and Wyatt both have their own issues they're working through, which adds so much depth to their relationship. Wyatt, the quintessential cowboy, grappling with opening up, and Sally facing a big life change across the country – their struggles feel real and make their eventual coming together even more satisfying. Plus, the book doesn't shy away from the heat! It was veryyy spicy, adding that extra layer of passion and intensity that truly makes a romance unforgettable. The 'cowboy x vet' element also added a unique twist, deepening their connection through shared experiences or a passion for animals. Seriously, I gave this book a full 5/5 stars, and I rarely do that! Everything worked out beautifully, leaving me with that warm, fuzzy feeling only a truly great romance can. If you're searching for your next read and love the sound of a heartwarming, steamy small town cowboy romance with friends-to-lovers and fake dating, you absolutely need to pick up 'Wyatt.' And if you enjoy this genre, you might also love books like 'Eight Seconds to Ride by Ashley James' for another fantastic cowboy romance fix!
