RV Tour - 3.5 years on the road 🚌
We’ve been living in our Montana for 3.5 years and it’s not really aesthetically pleasing, but we don’t care 😅. This is our vessel for more travel and experiences which is why we did this lifestyle in the first place. Eventually we will finish renovating, but we’re not in a big hurry🤷🏼♀️.
Living on the road in a Montana RV for over three years has truly transformed the way I view life and travel. It’s not always glamorous—our RV isn’t polished or perfectly designed yet—but it’s genuinely a vessel for unforgettable experiences and freedom. One thing I’ve learned is that embracing imperfection allows you to focus on the true essence of this lifestyle: exploration and living intentionally. The slow renovation process has been a blessing in disguise, giving us the flexibility to adapt our space according to our evolving needs rather than rushing to achieve a showroom finish. This lifestyle encourages you to prioritize experiences over possessions, which means less stress about aesthetics and more about connecting with new places and people. For those considering a similar journey, I recommend starting with what you have and focusing on daily adventures instead of waiting for everything to be perfect. Using hashtags like #rvtour, #keystonerv, and #tinyhomeonwheels helped me find a supportive community online, which made a huge difference. It’s exciting to be part of a network of people who value freedom, simplicity, and travel. Living in a 'tiny home on wheels' also means learning to live minimally and efficiently. It’s a great lesson in sustainability and resourcefulness—something many travelers appreciate. Whether it’s optimizing storage or figuring out how to cook in a small kitchen, every small challenge is a rewarding part of the journey. Overall, this realistic RV life has enriched our experiences beyond what we expected. It’s not about showing off a luxury RV but about embracing the freedom to roam and the joy of a simple home on the road.
I would LOVE to do this with my incredible 26 year old autistic daughter!! We love to travel together! Having our own living area would be great for her!! I am so jealous! I love creating experiences with her! Life is about living and loving together!!! I am going to start looking at this as an option for us. We could go anywhere! No more motels! My daughter would love that! Thank you for sharing an incredible travel option! 👍😊❤️
