Following Jesus in the midst of chaos//possible✨🌷
When we look at the world around us: all we see is chaos. From killing, shootings, kidnapping, overdoses, human-trafficking, political violence, homelessness…I can go on and on.😔
You may even ask yourself, “if God is so good why won’t He do something about it”, right!?…
The only answer I have is this…
We are the answer.!!
Let me explain—-there is one gift that God gave to humanity and that is Free Will.
(That means we are free to do whatever we want, with whom ever we want, whenever we want)…
Being that God will never force Himself into no one’s life. He is a gentleman. He is slow to anger and abounding in love💞
It’s like a relationship, if you have a partner you would want them to choose you and you would want to choose them. If that partner tried to force themselves into your life it wouldnt be an organic relationship, it would be forced…you would be force to love them, force to spend time with them, force to talk to them- that’s no fun, that’s miserable!.
So with God when we have a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ than we will began to know who He really is. Then we will began to change. Our human nature changes, our spiritual DNA changes then we will began to see the world like He does. In John 3:16 it says that “For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
So whether we like it or not- God sent Jesus into this chaotic world, not to just save us from sin but to allow us to be sons of God.
When you become His son(Born-Again) then you will began to change. When we shine our light in darkness the world(people)-hearts will change. The world around us that’s in turmoil will change if we do what He has called us to do…To love, to preach the Good News and follow His ways.☀️
So following Jesus doesn’t have to be difficult when we let go and let God live through us.💓
Since I get to follow Him in the craziness- I get to shine His light in dark places and see people with eyes of love, eyes of compassion and eyes of mercy…we love because He first loved us.🙏🏾💖

In a world overwhelmed by chaos, it's easy to feel lost or despondent. Many are questioning the presence of goodness amidst violence, addiction, and societal strife. Free will allows us to choose God and foster a genuine relationship with Him, which is foundational to following Jesus. The call to follow Jesus invites us not just to find personal salvation, but to actively participate in the transformation of the world around us. In addition to spiritual growth, this journey challenges us to respond to chaos with love and compassion. By acting according to God's will, believers can create a ripple effect that brings light to even the darkest places. John 3:16 encapsulates the purpose of Jesus’ sacrifice – to offer eternal life and relationship to humanity. This truth inspires Christians to engage with their communities, helping those struggling in tumultuous times, showing them that hope and change are possible through God's love. Through Jesus, we can inspire others by being agents of love, peace, and good news. As we navigate the chaos, we strengthen our commitment to reflect His teachings and serve as beacons of hope in a broken world.
