OUR JULY SPEND AS DINKS 💸

For starters, DINK = dual income, no kids.

My husband and I live in Austin, TX and this was our July spend. I broke down our bills and variable expenses and showed y'all what's included in our budget with our REAL numbers.

July was a good month for us spend wise, we stayed within our budget much more than in June!

We try to budget based on the 50/30/20 method, but don't sweat it too much if a month is off. If you don't know what that is go check out the post I did on it!

Stay tuned for more fun money education!

In July, we carefully tracked our spending, adhering to the 50/30/20 budgeting rule, which allocates 50% of income to needs, 30% to wants, and 20% to savings. Our bills included rent ($151.09), utilities ($142.69), car insurance ($260.61), and more, totaling a manageable monthly cost. Additionally, our variable expenses covered groceries ($926.80), dining out ($303.48), and personal care ($48), showcasing our balanced lifestyle choices. Adopting a spending plan helps avoid credit card debt and aligns our expenditures with what truly brings us joy. By focusing on our budgeting education journey, we hope to inspire others navigating similar financial paths. Engage with us!
