advice/interview podcasts 🎧🙋🏽‍♀️

#assembleyourcrew

to just listen and take in what’s for you is truly a practice and an art!

here are some interview/advice podcasts i admire!

do you listen to any of these?! do you have any i should try?!

💫💫💫💫 ADULTING: michelle buteau and jordan carlos provide real life advice through conversations with comics, experts and celebs answer listeners' most complex questions like: "how much should you pay for a pillow?”, "how should I treat my one-night stand?" or "when is it time to tell my dj boyfriend to give up on their career?"

this is listening to an honest group of friends answer silly and leading questions.

💫💫💫💫💫 WISER THAN ME: julia louis-dreyfus hasn’t received allllll the glory she deserves. to come into hollywood the way she has and remain level headed is amazing to me.

in this podcast, she has personal conversations with iconic older women who are brimming with the kind of unapologetic attitude and wisdom that only comes with time. julia calls her 90-year-old mom, judy, at the end of each episode to recap the interview she just had.

💫💫💫💫💫 WHY WONT YOU DATE ME: this podcast started with nicole byers looking to self to see why she was single when she didn’t want to be.

she’s a stand up comedian who’s been in it for years and has all the famous connections and jobs to bring in big names but those who are her actual friends always bring what i’m looking for.

nicole asks directly about love and what’s in the companionship game.

it’s become a podcast less about wanting to date and more about everyone finding themselves and the silly shit that happens along the way.

💫💫💫💫💫DONT ASK TIG: with the help of her friends and the occasional expert, tig gives her best inexpert guidance on everything from lost love to giving yourself a haircut with toddler scissors. tig might have moved onto just doing her podcast handsome full time. they’re still posting recap episodes so high hopes she comes back irl

💫💫💫💫FAMILY SECRETS: dani shapiro, author of the memoir Inheritance, talks with everyday people as they explore astonishing family secrets and uncover the extraordinary lessons the truth can teach us

what’s a podcasts you’ve listened to more than once?!
