what about the rain? ☔️

🌧️🇸🇪🧌there is a swedish saying we use while in sweden and the PNW, “there is no bad weather, only bad clothing.”

“det finns inget dåligt väder, bara dåliga kläder.”

the only way i’ve found to make it through the rain is to lean into the joys of it🙏🏾💧🌂

we dress for the weather & keep shell coats in the car

find games we all like to play outside & meet up with friends who also don’t mind!

“it’s just a little weather, go play!”-farmor

Embracing this mindset can transform your perception of rain. Dressing appropriately is key; a good waterproof shell coat can keep you dry and comfortable while you embark on outdoor activities. Consider planning games or family activities that are enjoyable even in the rain. Things like puddle jumping, outdoor scavenger hunts, or even simple walks can turn into exciting adventures. Involving friends or community members makes these rainy activities even more enjoyable. Furthermore, these experiences foster connections and create cherished memories with loved ones while connecting with nature. Communities in regions known for their wet climates, such as the Pacific Northwest (PNW), embrace rainy weather and accommodate outdoor exploration regardless of the forecast. Engaging with local groups focused on outdoor activities can provide you with inspiration and support to make the best of every rainy day. Remember, it's all about shifting your perspective and finding joy in every drop of rain!
