third eye chakra

🧘🏽‍♀️. i love to focus on my chakras individually & with purpose & focus. i usually work through them depending on how i’m feeling or aligned with what’s happening in my astrological charts 📈 💫♑️

i’m currently focusing on one chakra a month, clearing up towards my crown. i’m quieter now & feel expanded in a way that’s hard to explain.

👩🏾‍🎤✌🏾last month i turned my attention to the third eye chakra (ajna)

when you tap into this chakra, you’re not just opening up to spiritual insight, but also enhancing creativity & focus—think of it as a way to “see” your world with a fresh lens.

💜✨ the third eye chakra, or ajna in sanskrit, is the sixth primary chakra. it governs intuition, inner vision, & the ability to see beyond the physical world.

ways to clear & balance

• surround yourself with shades of indigo & purple, incorporating these colors into your space & wardrobe.

• use third-eye chakra-stimulating crystals & stones such as amethyst, lapis lazuli, labradorite, fluorite, & purple sapphire.

• include calming essential oils like frankincense, lavender, sandalwood, & rosemary. these can be diffused, added to a bath, or massaged into your temples to help clear your mind.

• practice affirmations like: i trust my intuition & inner wisdom or i am open to the truth & insight from within.

• utilize the sound frequency 852 Hz, which is linked to heightened awareness & spiritual awakening.

• engage in meditation & mindfulness practices that encourage stillness, clarity, & connection to your inner vision.

• yoga poses like child’s pose (balasana), forward fold (uttanasana), & eagle pose (garudasana) help activate this energy center.

🧘🏽‍♀️🔮 i dedicate time to mindful practices like meditation, visualization, & dream journaling. as i open & balance my third eye chakra, i allow my intuition to guide me & embrace the wisdom that flows from within.

if this resonates, feel free to share your third eye chakra practices, affirmations, or any tips that have helped you strengthen your connection to your inner vision. 👁️💫 let’s grow together through insight & inner truth

... Read moreHey everyone! I've been getting so many questions about the Third Eye Chakra, especially its fascinating symbol. When I first started my chakra journey, I was really curious about the Ajna's visual representation, and it has truly deepened my understanding and practice. The Third Eye Chakra, or Ajna, isn't just an energy center; it has a profound symbol that's super helpful for visualization during meditation. It's typically depicted as a two-petaled lotus in a vibrant indigo hue. Those two petals are really significant, often said to represent the duality of our existence – like the left and right hemispheres of the brain, or the inner and outer worlds. For me, understanding this helps bring balance to my thoughts and perceptions. It's like a visual reminder to integrate logic with intuition. This imagery directly links to cultivating mental clarity and self-awareness, which are key aspects of a balanced Ajna. And that indigo color? It’s not just pretty; it’s deeply symbolic. Indigo is associated with intuition, wisdom, inner vision, and expanded consciousness. When I surround myself with shades of indigo, incorporating them into my meditation space or even my wardrobe, it feels like I'm inviting that energy into my life. It helps me focus on developing my spiritual insight and seeing situations with greater clarity. This symbol, with its two-petaled indigo lotus, is directly linked to mental clarity and self-awareness, which is exactly what we're aiming for when we work with the Ajna chakra. When I visualize this symbol during my meditation practice, I imagine it glowing brightly between my eyebrows, opening up my inner eye to receive truth and insight. It's a powerful tool for connecting with that deeper wisdom that lies within all of us. I've found integrating this symbolism into my daily routine incredibly helpful. For example, when I use my amethyst, lapis lazuli, or labradorite crystals – which are all beautiful shades of indigo and purple – I not only feel their energy but also connect them to the visual of the indigo lotus. Holding a lapis lazuli during meditation while visualizing the two-petaled lotus just enhances the experience, helping me feel more centered and intuitive. Also, remember how I mentioned sound healing? The 963 Hz frequency is said to activate the pineal gland, which is often associated with the Third Eye. When I listen to these frequencies, I couple it with visualizing that glowing indigo lotus. It's like I'm using both sound and sight to truly 'tap in' to my inner vision. And for those affirmations, like "I trust my intuition & inner wisdom," I now say them while picturing the indigo lotus symbol expanding and radiating light. It makes the affirmation feel so much more grounded and real. Even in my yoga practice, especially in poses like Child's Pose or Forward Fold, I imagine sending energy to that space between my brows, visualizing the lotus gently opening and bringing me a sense of calm and insight. By truly understanding and visualizing the Ajna chakra's two-petaled indigo lotus symbol, I feel like I've unlocked another layer of my spiritual journey. It's not just about balancing an energy center; it's about consciously engaging with its profound meaning to foster greater intuition, mental clarity, and a deeper connection to my authentic self. Give it a try, and let me know how it resonates with you!
