my elementary babe has been studying religion.
began by asking where each secular faith believes their own god/s began.
she’s currently focused on cults of australia….. idk. she’s coming by this deep curiosity with such honesty. it’s all fascinating and big.
i hope she finds peace before it overwhelms.
before her genius sends her into the negative end of nihilism.
because that’s it too. if your baby is brilliant (and we know they are) they’ll face the shadows of spiritual and physical psychosis. where we hope they come out healthy holding the weight of knowing this life is by faith, vibes, balance and energy, after all….
i hope my babies go camping often. i hope they ground and return to the earth. i pray they find calm in this mess i’m terrified of leaving them
