fire valley state park

if you want to check off vegas but vegas isn't your vibe, take an hour drive to fire valley state park. my husband and I honestly ended up loving this park more than we originally thought we would and we plan on going back asap to hike more trails. I can Definitely recommend the 2 I did which was white domes trail, which took about 2.5 hours to really enjoy the hike and the fire canyon trail which we only hiked for an hour but ideally I wish we spend some extra time to enjoy.

✨ Pros: very pretty to see and the hikes mentioned above are beginner friendly although lengthy

👀 Cons: I would recommend this trip during the fall and winter months (October -January) we went in October and it was hot enough to imagine how hot it would be during the summer #nevada #nevadatravel #firevalley
