Running fit 🦋
I started running/jogging August of 2024 and look/feel better than ever ♥️. Trick for me was to jog at a walking pace or whatever pace you can go without losing your breath, moving for as long as you can. Suddenly I was running 5ks and 10ks 🤗. Helps to find a local running group and track your runs, I use the app Strava 🙂. #running #gymlifestyle #bodytransformation
Running is an excellent way to improve both your physical and mental health. Starting slowly and finding a pace that suits you helps build endurance without overwhelming your body. As many new runners find, incorporating social elements, like joining a local running group, can greatly enhance motivation and enjoyment. According to numerous studies, exercising with others not only makes workouts more enjoyable but also holds you accountable. Additionally, tracking your runs using apps like Strava provides valuable insights into your progress, helping you set achievable goals and stay motivated. Engaging regularly with the running community can further boost your experience. Many running enthusiasts benefit from participating in races, which can create a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie. If you're new to running, setting small, attainable goals is key. Start with a mix of walking and jogging, gradually increasing the distance and time as your fitness improves. Remember, the journey to fitness is personal, and every small step counts towards your overall health and well-being. Don't forget to celebrate your milestones, whether they are completing your first mile, signing up for a race, or improving your running pace.
