This account isn’t doing well
I’m not sure why and it makes me so upset honestly
I would love more followers and engagement but ultimately I’ve had this account since musically and I may have deleted majority of my content because of growing up but there’s just something where I can’t let it go.
Now I post my baby on it so it makes it even more sentimental
Anyways hopefully this account starts going somewhere because I don’t want to start over
Also I just wanna post whatever I wish and not have to stick with 1 thing. I love dancing and makeup videos but also just wanna post whatever I wish
You know, it’s so easy to feel alone when your TikTok account isn’t growing the way you hoped. I totally get the frustration – that feeling of pouring your heart into content, seeing your follower count (even 28.8K is amazing!) but sensing a lack of real connection. I've been there, staring at my analytics, wondering why my likes and comments aren't translating into that vibrant community I see others building. It’s like you’re doing all the 'right' things, but the algorithm just isn't playing along. One thing mentioned that really hit home for me is wanting to post 'whatever I wish' – from dancing to makeup to daily life as a 'Boy Momma.' This is such a common dilemma! On one hand, everyone says to "find your niche." On the other, we're real people with diverse interests, and forcing ourselves into a tiny box can feel so restrictive and even take the joy out of creating. I've personally tried to stick to just one thing, and honestly, it felt like a job rather than a passion. My most authentic content often comes from those random moments or interests that might not fit a strict 'niche.' Maybe the key isn't a super-narrow niche, but rather a personal brand that ties diverse content together – you are the niche! So, what is the key to engagement when you're feeling stuck? From my own experience and what I've learned, it's often less about chasing fleeting trends and more about genuine connection. For a 'Dancer | Boy Momma,' maybe it's sharing the behind-the-scenes chaos of trying to practice a dance routine with a toddler, or doing a quick makeup tutorial while your little one is napping. Those moments are relatable and build a deeper bond with viewers. Asking open-ended questions in your captions, responding to every single comment, and even going live to chat with your community can make a huge difference. People want to feel seen and heard. Another tip I've picked up is to look at your most successful videos – maybe those with 59.7K likes – and try to understand why they resonated. Was it the music? The vulnerability? The specific topic? It doesn't mean you have to replicate it exactly, but it can provide clues for future content. And don't forget the power of drafts! Having 386 drafts is a treasure trove – sometimes those unpolished, spontaneous ideas are gold. Maybe some of those pregnancy test results or early 'Boy Momma' moments could be revisited or shared as a 'throwback' to connect with your current audience on a deeper, more personal level. Ultimately, growth on TikTok isn't just about numbers; it's about building a community that values you for being authentically *you*. It's a marathon, not a sprint, and sometimes the biggest breakthroughs come when you stop obsessing over the algorithm and start focusing on the people on the other side of the screen. Keep posting what you love, and remember, your journey is relatable to so many of us out here!

28k is very well? I have like 100 maybe a little more at most 😅
