Day in My Life

... Read moreLiving the college life can be such a whirlwind, right? My day often feels like a marathon, and honestly, finding little hacks to make it through is key. Like today, I actually managed to grab breakfast before my morning lecture – it felt like a huge win! Usually, I'm rushing out the door. If you're a college student juggling classes, activities, and trying to keep your dorm room from looking like a disaster zone, you probably get it. Speaking of dorm rooms, I've learned that quick tidying sessions are essential. My bed might be messy after a late night of studying or rehearsals, but having a few go-to spots for clothes and books makes a difference. And on those days when I wake up around 9 AM, feeling a bit groggy, having a decent breakfast, even if it's just fruit and yogurt, makes those long lectures so much more bearable. Trust me, skipping meals is a recipe for a mid-lecture energy crash! Today, I had a three-hour English class followed by Philosophy – intense! For classes like these, I always try to bring a snack (chips are my go-to!) and make sure my headphones are charged so I can zone into some focus music during breaks. It's all about making those marathon sessions fly by. And when the afternoon hits and you're feeling completely drained, a quick power nap (even just an hour or two around 3 PM) can be a lifesaver. Don't underestimate the power of a good 'NAPTIMEEEEE' to recharge for the evening. My evenings are often packed with extracurriculars, like rehearsals, which can run pretty late. Balancing academics with these commitments can be tough, but it's also where some of my best memories are made. After a long day of classes and rehearsals, sometimes all you need is a late-night treat, like a midnight smoothie. It's a small indulgence, but it's those little moments of self-care that keep me going. Every day is an adventure, full of unexpected challenges and fun experiences, and that's what makes college life so unique.
