Sundered Doctrine

When I first got my hands on it, I was curious about its potential, and after countless hours in the field, I've uncovered some 'truths' that really make this weapon shine. First off, let's talk about the god rolls. For PvE, my absolute favorite is a combination of Rewind Rounds and Target Lock. Rewind Rounds means that landing hits refills a portion of the magazine from reserves, which is incredibly useful for sustained damage against tougher enemies or clearing waves. For PvP, the story changes slightly. I lean towards Dynamic Sway Reduction for improved accuracy and stability while firing, combined with Rampage for that damage boost after a kill. This setup makes the Sundered Doctrine incredibly consistent in duels and allows for quick follow-up kills. The key is to find what feels right for your playstyle, but these rolls have personally helped me dominate control points and win more engagements. Beyond the perks, understanding how Sundered Doctrine integrates into your build is crucial. As a Warlock main, I often pair it with my Well of Radiance build. Dropping a Well not only provides immense healing but also buffs my weapon damage, turning the Sundered Doctrine into an even more potent force. The synergy is incredible, especially when facing high-density enemy waves or trying to take down a boss. You can also benefit from the Radiant buff, which further increases your damage output, allowing the Sundered Doctrine to truly live up to its destructive potential. For Hunters, pairing it with Golden Gun for those burst damage moments or quickly clearing a major threat can be incredibly effective. Even a simple Healing Rift can be enough to turn the tide in a tough fight, letting you focus on laying down consistent fire with your auto rifle. I've found the Sundered Doctrine to be surprisingly versatile. It can handle various enemy types, and with the right seasonal artifact mods, it can even become an Unstoppable Shot counter, making it a reliable choice for end-game content like Nightfalls. Don't underestimate its ability to generate Orbs of Power for your teammates, especially with specific mod setups. While it might not always be the top-tier meta pick, its consistent performance and satisfying feel make it a staple in my arsenal. I've used it to complete countless objectives and push through difficult encounters, often feeling like I've uncovered a secret weapon. It might not be as flashy as a SLEEPER SIMULANT for burst damage, or as precise as a Forerunner, but its reliability is its true 'truth'.
