Growing up as an overthinker and dreamer, I often channel my ideas into tangible projects like embroidery, resin zodiac bowls, and tea light holders—all handmade with intention. What’s truly inspiring is how the skills developed during 18 years in the Air Force, including adaptability, resilience, and accountability, directly influence my approach to creating and managing my projects. Balancing multiple roles—from being a maker at heart to continuing education using the GI Bill—has taught me the importance of boundaries, self-respect, and self-love. These principles are non-negotiable for maintaining both creativity and mental wellness. Coffee keeps me fueled during long creative sessions, and clear communication helps strengthen my relationships, especially as I show up consistently for my family. My passion also extends to collecting vintage items and crystals, which add a soulful touch to my workspace and inspire new projects. Whether it’s dealing with life’s challenges or embracing growth seasons, I trust my intuition and remind myself that progress is about imperfection and persistence rather than perfection. For anyone juggling multiple creative passions while managing personal growth and demanding experiences, embracing discipline with heart can truly transform your journey into something meaningful and fulfilling.
