Books I love that were donated to the library 📚

The library gets a lot of donations and we sell them back to the community to fund programs like art, after school, cooking, education, and more!

These are some recent donations of books I’ve loved and I think it’s so cool that a new group of people will get to read and enjoy these books and they won’t go to a landfill or sit in a box for years.

We love the library! Support your local library!

Donated books often include hidden gems and bestselling titles that can stir passion in both young readers and adults alike. For instance, classics by authors like Sandra Cisneros or gripping narratives from John Grisham can ignite interest in new readers who might not have otherwise picked them up. Another popular title, 'They Both Die at the End' by Adam Silvera, tells a poignant story that resonates deeply with teenagers and adults alike, making it a profound addition to any library collection. Libraries often use proceeds from the sale of donated books to fund essential community programs, including educational workshops and cultural events. This symbiotic relationship highlights the importance of continued support for local libraries. So next time you're clearing out your shelves, consider donating your beloved books and help foster a love for reading in your community!

I love this. My husband and I have donated. We have bought WAY more, though. It’s such a good way to start a new series without the crazy investment up front. I love, love, love local library sales.
