🍋Sad but present ✨
Sometimes my depression catches up to me and I get stuck worrying about things that haven’t happened yet. Some days I slow down, other days it feels like too much. I just want to be seen sometimes so I can take things one day at a time.

Managing depression can often feel overwhelming, especially when worries about the future start to consume your thoughts. From my own experience, I know how hard it is to slow down when your mind is racing, but I've found that embracing vulnerability is a crucial step toward healing. Opening up about these feelings might seem scary, but it creates space for acceptance and support. Interestingly, spending time with horses has been a source of comfort and healing for many people, including myself. The calmness and nonjudgmental presence of these animals help ground my emotions and remind me to focus on the present moment rather than being lost in anxious thoughts. The connection formed through horse healing not only uplifts the spirit but also teaches patience and resilience. Of course, it’s important to approach each day with kindness toward yourself. Some days will be tough and slow; others might bring moments of peace and clarity. Allowing yourself to be seen and acknowledged without pressure helps in navigating the ups and downs of mental health. Remember, you are not alone—sharing your journey can build a supportive community where healing and understanding thrive.

I’m really trying my best.
