This next chapter of life is about to get really, really good (or I at least hope it is 😅🤞🏼🫣) after years of
feeling stuck in my business, in my health and in my personal life, I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and feeling so very grateful to be where I am. Don't get me wrong- I'm definitely nervous, and I still very much do the work in therapy, but I'm mostly excited!

Stepping into this new chapter, I can honestly say I've never felt more aligned with myself. The journey to the Wilde Folk Bungalow wasn't just about building a physical space; it was about rebuilding my own sense of self after feeling stuck for so long. It started with a deep desire to unsubscribe from the relentless hustle culture and truly embrace the need to live slower, to create space for joy and presence. The vision for the Wilde Folk Bungalow was born from this longing for a more intentional life. I wanted to create a place, an Airbnb, that not only reflected my newfound peace but also offered it to others. Imagining every detail, from the inviting entrance to the serene bedrooms, became a form of therapy. When planning the minimalist bedroom, I pictured crisp white bedding, a warm wooden nightstand, and a touch of nature with a potted plant, all designed to foster a sense of calm and escape. It was about crafting an experience, not just a room. This project truly allowed me to start creating again. There's an incredible satisfaction in bringing something from your imagination into reality. Whether it was sketching out design ideas, sourcing unique decor, or simply arranging furniture, every step felt like a victory against the stagnation I'd felt before. I even found myself rediscovering old joys, like using my Wilde Folk perfume again, which brought back a sense of connection to my own wild, creative spirit. Embracing slower living wasn't an overnight change; it was a series of small, intentional choices. It meant prioritizing moments of quiet reflection, reaching for that dropper bottle of essential oils for a grounding ritual, and consciously stepping back from the constant pressure to be 'on.' This shift has been profound, transforming not just my outlook but my entire daily rhythm. The Wilde Folk Bungalow has become a tangible symbol of this transformation, a place where the design itself encourages a pause, a breath, a moment to simply be. It's a space where I hope guests can also experience the profound joy of a life lived a little slower, a little more mindfully, and a lot happier.
