I wanted to share a more detailed look into what a typical (or perhaps not-so-typical) Friday often entails for me. It's truly a day in the life that keeps me on my toes! My mornings always begin with that essential first cup of coffee. I make it at home, and honestly, that quiet moment, savoring something tasty, is a small but mighty happiness booster. It sets a mindful tone before the beautiful chaos begins. After that, it's full mom mode – wrangling the kids, making sure they're ready, and walking them down to the bus stop. Those moments, even the hurried ones, are precious. Once the bus pulls away and the house falls silent, it's like a switch flips. I instantly dive into entrepreneur gear. This is when I focus on my skincare business. Some days are packed with creative work, like developing new product ideas or planning marketing content. Other days, it's all about the nitty-gritty of running the show, from managing orders to connecting with suppliers. I'm always trying to hone my skills, which often means dedicating time to training. I remember one Friday, I was deep into a recording session for some new content, really pushing through. But sometimes, life throws you a curveball. That day, things weren't flowing, and I had to cut my recording short. It felt like a sign, a nudge from above to pivot. And pivot I did! Instead of forcing the creative work, I shifted my focus to something equally important to me: ministry. My daughter and I finished up some ministry-related tasks together. It's incredible how often that happens – what starts as a business day can organically weave into family time and community service. Being a business owner and a ministry leader means my days are rarely linear, but that’s part of the beauty of it. It's about finding that balance, striving to juggle everything with grace, even when it feels like a lot. Whether it's a calm moment with coffee, the morning rush with the kids, intense business training, or a spontaneous ministry moment, every part of my day contributes to the whole. It's a constant learning curve, but seeing my skincare business grow while still being present for my family and community makes all the hard work worth it. This journey as a mompreneur, a wife, and a business owner is challenging but incredibly rewarding.
