OMG, you guys, I've been diving deep into Pokémon TCG Pocket, and guess what? I just got a closer look at the brand-new Celebi ex card, and I'm already obsessed! 😍 This game is shaping up to be amazing, and finding gems like Celebi ex makes it even better. Let's talk details about this incredible Basic Grass-type Pokémon. This Celebi ex comes with a solid 130 HP, which I think is pretty decent for a basic ex card. It means it can take a hit or two before going down, giving you some time to set up your board. As a Grass-type, it has some interesting matchups, especially against certain Water or Fighting types, which I'm always strategizing around. Its attack, 'Powerful Bloom,' is definitely the star of the show. It deals 50x damage, which, from what I understand, likely means 50 damage for each something – maybe each Grass energy attached, or perhaps each Pokémon in play, or even linked to specific conditions. This kind of variable damage attack can be super powerful if you build your deck to support it correctly. Imagine stacking up enough resources to unleash a massive hit! It’s all about timing and resource management, which I absolutely love in a TCG. Of course, every Pokémon has its weaknesses, and Celebi ex is no exception. It has a Fire weakness (+20), which is something to keep in mind when facing off against Fire-type decks. You’ll definitely want some switch cards or other defensive measures if you expect to run into those. The retreat cost is one colorless energy, which is pretty manageable. It means you can easily swap it out if it’s in danger or if you need to bring in a different attacker without losing too much tempo. And let's not forget the 'ex rule'! This is a big deal. If your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes two Prize cards instead of one. This trade-off means you need to protect your ex Pokémon carefully and make sure they deliver enough value before they're potentially knocked out. It adds a layer of strategic depth that I really enjoy. Overall, my initial impression of Celebi ex in Pokémon TCG Pocket is really positive. I see it as a potentially strong card for a Grass-focused deck, especially if you can consistently fuel its Powerful Bloom attack. I’m already thinking about what other cards could synergize well with it – maybe some energy acceleration or cards that benefit from having Grass Pokémon on the bench.
