It’s always easier to blame
It’s always easier to blame when something doesn’t go your way.
your company
the system
your team
your family
your friends
your leaders
your customers
the situation and the list goes on.
But when you blame, who are you giving power to?
What if you start to adopt this simple mindset shift?
Instead of blaming, try this instead.
“what am I going to do about it” - this instantly creates self accountability and puts you in control.

From my own experience, shifting away from blame towards self-accountability has been transformative. Too often, we want to assign fault to external factors—be it your company, your team, family, friends, or the system—because it feels easier than facing our own role in challenges. However, blaming only hands over your power to those circumstances and prolongs the feeling of helplessness. When I started asking myself, "What am I going to do about it?" instead of, "Who should I blame?" I noticed immediate changes. This shift put me in control and motivated me to find solutions rather than dwell on problems. It also improved my relationships at work and home, as I stopped projecting frustrations onto others and looked for ways to contribute positively. Implementing this mindset isn’t always easy at first—our natural reflex is to blame—but practicing it consistently can lead to profound personal growth. You begin to see setbacks as opportunities to learn rather than obstacles imposed by others. This attitude cultivates resilience and self-awareness, which are keys to both professional success and personal fulfillment. Remember, when you blame, you give your power away; when you accept responsibility and focus on actions, you reclaim that power and unlock your true potential.
