Why I started digital marketing

I go by Willow and I am the owner of willowdigital.co 👋🏾
I am 28 years old, college graduate, army veteran and now just a person that wakes up for work everyday lol. 😂
For a long time I’ve been dealing with finiacial hardship, depression and overall just not feeling satisfition when it came to everyday life. Something had to change just wasn’t sure what it was at the time. But one thing for sure I knew I had to change my financial situation.
I thought to myself, I’m already working two jobs the next thing has to be something online. I was scrolling on TikTok as we all do 😭. And I came across this girl live, it made me stop for a minute and watch. She was there talking about digital marketing and how she went from flat broke to hitting 6 figures.
At first , I was like cap 🧢 😭. Can’t be real and I left it alone. But at this point I was constantly seeing lives. Until one day I came across her live again. And receipts 🧾👀 were shown.
That’s when I knew oh shit this is real. Not only is it real but she was selling products that she didn’t even make herself. Mind you this is back in Jan 2024. At this point talking to all my friends about it and they’re telling me go for it.
That’s when I had made the decision that I’m going to start this. But what really locked me in is when my friends invested in me and bought me my first IPad to make my dream a reality. 💚
It was bumpy and I didn’t see my first sale until 5 months in. 😭 after that it was silence and I got discouraged. I took a long break and now I’m back because I still need to make my dream a reality.
The ultimate goal? Freedom — of time, place, and finances. To live life on your terms, doing what you want, when and where you want — without money holding you back.
