Me and PeePee

I know I mentioned PeePee has a 'crazy vibe' and acts like a 'bad little kid,' and seriously, it's true! He's a light-colored rabbit with those big, dark eyes you see in his pictures, and a cute pink nose. But don't let that innocent look fool you! Sometimes he'll just nip at my fingers when I'm petting him, not out of anger, but almost like he's saying 'Hey, pay attention to me!' It can be surprising at first, but I've learned that bunnies communicate a lot through their actions. For example, when PeePee does his little 'zoomies' around the living room, binkying and twisting in the air, that's his way of showing pure joy. It's totally meme-worthy! And when he stares directly at the camera, just like in the photos where his prominent whiskers are so clear, he often looks like he's plotting something mischievous or just judging my life choices! I swear, sometimes he gives me the funniest expressions, just like those viral bunny memes you see online. His antics often make me laugh out loud, and I find myself trying to capture those perfect 'bunny looking at camera meme' moments. Understanding bunny behavior has been a journey. Biting, for instance, can mean a few things. With PeePee, it’s usually either playful nipping for attention, or sometimes he’s trying to tell me he doesn’t like something, like being picked up when he's not in the mood. It’s important to learn their cues! If your bunny is exhibiting similar nipping or biting behavior, a few things can help. First, ensure they have plenty of toys to chew on, like hay, cardboard rolls, or safe wooden blocks, to keep their teeth healthy and satisfy their natural urge to chew. A bored bunny can be a mischievous bunny! Secondly, observe their body language. Ears flattened, tense body, or thumping usually indicate stress or fear. A relaxed bunny might be flopped over or stretching out. When PeePee is being particularly 'naughty,' it's often a sign he needs more mental or physical stimulation. Providing a safe, stimulating environment with plenty of space to run, explore, and dig (even if it's just a digging box with shredded paper) can really help channel their energy positively. Another tip for managing playful nipping is to yelp softly when they nip too hard, just like another bunny would. This teaches them bite inhibition. Never punish a bunny, as it can make them fearful and less trusting. Instead, redirect their attention with a toy or by offering a treat when they are calm. Every bunny has their own unique quirks and personality, and PeePee certainly has his fair share of them! He's a constant source of entertainment and a reminder that even the smallest pets can have the biggest personalities. It makes life with him so interesting and full of laughs.
