My mom told me not to get this dress

I found this dress at a resale shop for under $20 and I immediately was drawn to it when I saw it on the rack. I love all of the colors, the flouncy fabric, and the fact that it has pockets!

My mother is kind of a hater when it comes to my personal style and when I see something I like at a store, I’m almost always ready for her to take one look at it and give it a resounding no. At this point, I have learned that if there is something I want to get, I should just get it.

These days, I am not one to buy a clothing item without giving it some real thought, so I trust my own judgment and reasoning in deciding on pieces that will withstand the test of time, both in quality and style.
