Grey skies and wind vs Summer destination

There are certain places that are so much fun to visit in the summer. The weather is nice, and the atmosphere is partly shaped by the overall climate for the day. There is something about this sad weather that really sucks part of the joy away.

Pictures don’t look as good, the sun doesn’t bring that happy warm mood in, and it just feels disenchanting.

Frankenmouth is one place that doesn’t feel particularly good to visit when the weather is not great. All of the pastel buildings and things are just not meant to be shrouded by the clouds and the cold.
