We should stand and solidarity with all of our comrades in arms, by not requiring them to fight another battle, and historically one of the most destructive battles they can fight : the American empire.
Throughout history, many people have witnessed the profound impact that external interventions and economic sanctions can have on a nation and its people. The call to support Iranians by ending sanctions and opposing intervention resonates deeply with those who value sovereignty and human rights. From a personal perspective, I have observed how sanctions often harm ordinary citizens far more than the political entities they aim to pressure. Essential goods become scarce, healthcare systems suffer, and daily life becomes a struggle for many. The phrase “not requiring them to fight another battle” highlights the importance of allowing nations the freedom to resolve their issues without external interference, especially from powerful empires like the United States, whose involvement has historically led to prolonged conflicts and suffering. Supporting the end of sanctions and intervention is a way to champion peace and mutual respect among nations, promoting dialogue over conflict. It encourages global solidarity and recognizes the shared humanity between people across borders. By raising awareness and standing in solidarity, individuals can contribute to creating a more just international community where no population has to bear the brunt of geopolitical agendas. This approach fosters not only better international relations but also a hopeful path toward reconciliation and understanding.
