Meal ideas ~ Korean cuisine edition ~
Craving Korean food but don’t know what to eat?
Here’s some Korean meal ideas!
1. Bibimbap
This is one of the classic dish in Korean cuisine. It’s actually pretty easy to make a home version without the stone bowl! The stone bowl is an extra step if you want to really replicate the traditional meal. To make the Bibimbap, the first step is to steam rice and boil and/or slice the veggies you want to add. The most basic are cucumber, carrot, bean sprouts, and spinach. After that cook some meat and a sunny side egg. With all the ingredients prepped, you just need to put the rice first then top it with veggies and meat. At the end put the egg on top and sprinkle some nori strips! You’re done and a Bibimbap is ready! Everything will mix together and create a flavorful meal that you can adjust with seasonings 😋
2. Spicy Pork
This is another nice Korean dish that match so well with rice! Usually, I just buy store marinated spicy pork from Korean market and just cook them when I want to eat it. The spicy yet tender pork makes a great, comforting meal after a long day!
3. KBBQ
KBBQ is another classic in Korean cuisine! There’s not much to say besides having some meats if your liking and barbecue them! The standard meat options for KBBQ are bulgogi, short ribs, and spicy pork. There’s usually a dipping sauce containing onions to reduce the oiliness of the meat! It’s so delicious 😋😋
