Overdoing it is no picnic
Vulnerability
🤍 My Story:I had a really great day yesterday! I worked out with some modifications so I could do them with my injury, made a cake and hung out with one of my best friends! Also started my period and my partner made me laugh through my anguish of being broken and also being in a woman’s body. We got face masks and watched hazbin hotel (which I hadn’t seen but highly recommend 10/10)
But I overdid it and now I’m facing the consequences of my actions. My body feels like it’s back at square 1 and currently I’m very illegally on my stomach laying down while my mom drives me to the chiropractor. I’m in so much pain from yesterday I had a full on breakdown and made us late to my appointment.
🤍 How I Felt: really loved and really accommodated until today where I feel broken battered and helpless.
🤍 My Takeaways: Trying new things is good, laying on my stomach and back are easier than sitting down. Cars suck for back pain. And over exerting yourself is never a good idea.
Additional Thoughts: ice packs save lives and are wonderful but can actually freeze your skin (did that) please take care of your bones. It’s incredibly important that you stay unbroken when you can for quality of life.
