Hey everyone, as a fellow Stay, I've been seeing a lot of chatter lately that really makes me pause and think about our fandom culture. You know, those comments that pop up, like "you stan skz? me too!" which is great, but then quickly turn into something negative. It's disheartening to encounter sentiments like "leeknow is rude to his members.." or the possessive "felixismine!" – which, let's be honest, crosses a line from love to obsession, even if meant playfully. It can contribute to a rather unhealthy image. I often see people saying things like "omg han is over reacting." or the truly hurtful "changbin is ugly and fat." These aren't just casual remarks; they're criticisms directed at real people, our idols, who work incredibly hard. And what about "fake stay" accusations? It feels like we're policing each other instead of uniting and creating a supportive community. I've also spotted comments like "seungmin should stop smiling.." (really?) or "jeongins voice is bad." and even "hyunjin is just a visual." These statements completely disregard their talent, hard work, and unique contributions to Stray Kids' success. It’s so important for us to remember the impact of our words. Online spaces can amplify negativity, and what might seem like a small comment to one person can contribute to a toxic environment for many. As Stays, our primary role is to support and uplift Stray Kids. Think about how these comments might affect the members themselves, or how they reflect on our fandom to outsiders. We should be known for our positive energy, our dedication, and our ability to appreciate all eight talented individuals, not for internal bickering or tearing down the artists we claim to love. Instead of tearing down, let's build up. If you see a comment that's genuinely hateful or crosses a line, consider reporting it, but more importantly, contribute to the positive discourse. Share what you love about Leeknow's unique personality and dance, Felix's deep voice and captivating stage presence, Han's incredible versatility as a rapper, vocalist, and producer, Changbin's powerful rap and producing skills, Seungmin's angelic vocals and stability, Jeongin's amazing growth and powerful main vocal presence, and Hyunjin's captivating stage presence and artistic expression beyond just visuals.
