I LOVE books! Here r some of the things I always find happening to me when I’m reading,finding/buying books:
•not being able to leave the library without a huge stack of books
•reading through books much too fast, then being sad when I finish
•always losing track of time when reading and being late to things or staying up far too late
•spending all my money on books that r only available in hard cover because they r new

My biggest 'book people problem' has to be the ever-growing TBR (To Be Read) pile. It starts innocently enough with one or two exciting new releases, but before I know it, I have towering stacks of books threatening to take over my nightstand, my floor, and sometimes even a chair! It's a beautiful problem, but also a constant reminder of all the stories waiting to be devoured.
And speaking of *stacks of books*, who else has completely run out of shelf space? I've resorted to double-stacking, creating horizontal piles, and even using my books as décor (which, let's be honest, they are!). But then comes the challenge: how do you find that one specific book amidst the beautiful chaos? It's a treasure hunt every time I need to 'find more' books after finishing books too fast.
Then there's the internal debate: do I re-read a beloved classic, or dive into a brand-new adventure? There are so many incredible new books coming out, often only available in hard cover initially, which my wallet often protests. But the allure of a fresh story usually wins, even if it means spending too much money on my passion. And once I start, it's a goner! I can totally relate to *losing track of time when you're reading*. Suddenly it's 3 AM, and I have work in a few hours, but how can I possibly stop when the plot is thickening?
Another one of my personal quirks is the dreaded 'book hangover.' You know, that empty feeling after you finish a book that completely consumed you? It's like saying goodbye to dear friends, and it takes a while to recover and find a new world to immerse myself in. Sometimes, finding the next book feels like an impossible task.
And let's not forget the emotional rollercoaster of lending books. On one hand, I want to share the magic! On the other, will I ever see my precious hard cover copy again? It's a risk we book lovers take, hoping our friends will cherish them as much as we do and, more importantly, return them!
Finally, budgeting for books is a real art form. While I love the thrill of buying *new books*, I've started exploring my local library more often to curb my spending. Though, as you mentioned, I often leave with a massive stack of books anyway! It's a vicious, wonderful cycle. What are your most relatable bookish struggles?
