Love All, But Choose Those Who Choose You

We’re called to love everyone — to show grace, kindness, and compassion — but that doesn’t mean everyone deserves full access to your heart.

Over time, I’ve learned that protecting your peace doesn’t make you cold or unkind. It makes you wise. You can love someone and still keep your distance. You can forgive someone and still choose not to walk closely with them.

When you continually pour into people who drain you, your spirit runs empty. But when you surround yourself with those who truly care, your heart finds rest.

God doesn’t ask us to tolerate constant negativity — He asks us to love with discernment.

It’s okay to love people from afar while protecting your energy. You can wish them well, pray for them, and still choose peace.
