Building confidence means practicing speaking regularly, preparing what you want to say, and adopting positive body language. For example, speaking clearly and at a moderate pace makes you more understandable. Remember, people are drawn to energy; if your energy is positive and self-assured, they focus on your message, not your accent. It’s also helpful to reframe your mindset: your accent reflects your unique background and cultural identity, which adds richness to your communication. Trying to completely eliminate your accent can cause unnecessary stress, while embracing it with confidence highlights your authenticity. So, instead of worrying about perfect pronunciation, focus on being confident in your English skills and how you present yourself. Confidence covers everything—it helps you dominate conversations and makes your message memorable. This shift in focus from accent to confidence can transform your English learning journey and open up more opportunities for connection and success.
