HOLIDAY TRADITIONS 🎄
Now that I’m getting older and no longer live in my mother’s house , it is important to me to keep some holiday traditions alive .
On Christmas Eve we all spend time together. We make some holiday treats. Though the treat changes it’s always something sweet. Either chocolate chip cookies, s’mores, or holiday popcorn. We wash it all down with a big cup of cocoa. Then we all cuddle up on the couch and watch holiday movies. Our fave has been Polar Express .
After the movie finishes, we all find one gift under the tree with our names on it. Then we take turn opening our chosen present. To end our night we read “ The Night Before Christmas” before going to bed.
As we all get older and lead our separate lives I hope we are able to always come together for the holidays. No matter how that looks !
