... Read moreParticipating in a wellness class like this offers more than just physical movement — it nurtures mental and emotional healing as well. The trauma-informed approach ensures that every participant can practice safely and at their own pace, fostering a sense of agency and comfort. Even if you’ve never done yoga or art therapy before, the gentle flow yoga combined with creative art integration can help you tap into deeper relaxation and self-expression. I’ve personally found that engaging in such classes helps break down barriers to wellness by blending movement with creativity, allowing the body and mind to release tension more holistically. Having experienced similar classes in NYC, I can attest that it’s not just exercise but a therapeutic experience that leaves you feeling renewed. The community vibe is welcoming, and the inclusion of tea beforehand helps ease into the session smoothly. Moreover, Queens is an accessible location that offers a calm space away from the usual city bustle, making the time spent even more valuable. For $25, including all supplies, this class is an affordable way to prioritize self-care, especially if you’ve been feeling stressed or disconnected. If you want to explore more wellness habits or activities in NYC, joining a class like this is a great stepping stone to cultivating mindfulness and creativity in your daily routine.
