When I decided to tackle this particular 'Vivid Strike' character, I knew it wasn't just about the costume; it was about embodying a certain spirit. That initial title, 'Monster... yes I know,' really captured the feeling of stepping into a role that's powerful, perhaps a bit intimidating, but ultimately about standing firm. For those of you who might be wondering, 'Vivid Strike' really delves deep into some heavy themes, especially around bullying and overcoming adversity. It’s not just a cute magical girl anime; it has a serious core. We see characters like Rinne Berlinetta, who faced relentless bullying in her past, which profoundly shaped her. Her story is a raw look at the emotional scars that vivid strike bullies can leave, and how that trauma can manifest. Then there’s Fuuka Reventon, who stands by her friends and fights for what’s right, even when the odds are stacked against her. These characters aren't just fighting in the ring; they're fighting their pasts and the systems that allowed bullying to happen. My cosplay, in a way, is my tribute to that strength.
