You know, one of the things I love most is jumping into a character, especially in cosplay! It's not just about the costume; it's the whole transformation. When I mentioned I've been cosplaying for over 15 years, I really mean I've lived for the craft. Some of my favorite projects involve detailed builds, like the tactical cosplay described in my photos. There’s something incredibly satisfying about assembling a helmet with functional night vision goggles, figuring out how to make a mask comfortable for hours, or perfectly fitting a plate carrier. Each piece, down to the smallest detail, tells a story. And yeah, sometimes you just have to flash a peace sign even when you're geared up for battle! Then there's my gaming life – 14,000+ hours on Overwatch isn't just a number, it's a journey! It’s the thrill of competitive play, the camaraderie with teammates, and those intense 'play of the game' moments. What started as a casual hobby turned into a deep dive into strategy and quick reflexes. It's a fantastic escape and a way to connect with friends globally. Maybe that's where I get some of my 'tactical' thinking from, who knows! And if you thought those were unique, my collection of animal bones, oddities, and embalming tools often raises eyebrows! There's a strange beauty in the macabre, a way of preserving history and understanding the natural world in a very raw form. It's not for everyone, but it fascinates me. Speaking of raw, my few years in MMA, specifically BJJ and Muay Thai, taught me so much about discipline, resilience, and pushing my limits. It’s a powerful feeling to know your body's capabilities. Living with Hashimoto's disease means I'm often battling extreme fatigue, which can be tough when you're trying to balance all these passions. It’s a constant reminder to listen to my body, but it certainly doesn't stop me from pursuing what I love. It makes the moments I do have energy even more precious. And finally, giving back is really important to me. Volunteering at a veterans facility for 6+ hours a week isn't just a commitment; it's a privilege. Connecting with those who've served, hearing their stories, and offering a bit of support is incredibly rewarding. It grounds me and reminds me of what truly matters. So there you have it, a deeper look into the facts that make up my world. Hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little better!
