Its been a while since i bought a pair but for a while i was so obsessed with buying new vans. In July they do 31 days of vans and it really got me hooked on buying them. I would buy the shoes and the matching shirts. That’s where my matching sets, shoes, and color vibes really comes from.
Hey #VansAddicts! You know that feeling when your collection starts to outgrow your closet? That's exactly where I found myself after years of loving Vans, especially during those epic '31 days of Vans' sales! My passion for these iconic sneakers, from classic slip-ons to those vibrant floral and checkered patterns, quickly turned into a beautiful (and somewhat overwhelming!) collection. I realized it wasn’t enough to just own them; I wanted to *show them off*. So, I started experimenting with different ways to display my beloved Vans, turning them into a true part of my room's decor. One of my favorite methods, which you might have seen in my photos, is using simple wooden stairs or tiered shelving. It’s surprisingly effective for showcasing a large variety of shoes. I love lining up my sneakers, slip-ons, and even my occasional Vans flip-flops, letting each pair breathe and shine. The key is to arrange them neatly, almost like a gradient. I often group shoes by color – think a pop of red next to a classic black-and-white checkerboard, or a whole section dedicated to those fun rainbow designs. It really highlights the diverse array of styles and colors that Vans offers. Another tip I've learned is to think about accessibility. While a beautiful display is great, you also want to be able to grab your favorite pair easily. I tend to keep my most-worn sneakers on lower, more accessible shelves, while my more unique or seasonal pairs can go higher up. Clear shoe boxes can also be a game-changer if you have limited open shelving space. They keep dust off and still let you admire your collection without clutter. Don't forget about maintenance! To keep your displayed Vans looking fresh, a quick wipe-down now and then is essential. For canvas shoes, a gentle brush can remove surface dust, and for leather or suede, a specialized cleaner will keep them pristine. After all, a display only looks good if the shoes themselves are in great condition. I also love adding little personal touches, like a small plant or some fairy lights around my display area, to make it feel even more special and highlight the unique patterns and designs. Ultimately, displaying your Vans collection is all about personal expression. Whether you have a handful of classics or an expansive collection featuring every color and pattern imaginable, finding a way to showcase them proudly adds so much joy. It turns your passion into a visible art form right in your own home. Happy displaying, fellow Vans enthusiasts!
